Hours of Operation

Tubing
Get ready for an hour of easy, laugh-out-loud winter fun at Mt. Holiday’s Tube Run. For $30 per person, enjoy our groomed tubing lanes and paddle lift that brings you right back to the top, no climbing required. Each guest gets their own tube, and riders must be a minimum of 42 inches tall. Our on-hill team keeps things moving safely, creating a welcoming, family-friendly experience for all.
Tubing is quick to learn and easy to love. Just check in, grab a helmet if you’d like one, hop on the lift, and let the hill do the rest. Ride as many times as you want during your one-hour session, then warm up in the lodge with food, drinks, and plenty of smiles. It’s a perfect activity for families, friend groups, and anyone looking to enjoy winter without lessons or special gear.
Please note that winter conditions can change throughout the day based on weather, temperature, and usage. Tubing lanes and safety barriers may range from soft packed snow to firmer, icy conditions at times. While our team actively monitors and maintains the hill, conditions may feel different than expected. We encourage guests to consider age, comfort level, and current conditions when booking, and we’re always happy to answer questions ahead of your visit.

The Kiwanis Snowsports School
Celebrating 60 Years of Ski & Snowboard Tradition at Mt. Holiday
The Kiwanis Snowsports School at Mt. Holiday has been helping Traverse City kids learn to ski and snowboard for more than 60 years! Our experienced, friendly instructors make it easy and fun for children to discover the joy of winter sports—whether they’re riding the chairlift for the first time or mastering their pizza and french fry turns.
As one of Traverse City’s longest-running youth ski programs, the Kiwanis Snowsports School has introduced thousands of local kids to skiing and snowboarding. Along the way, they’ve gained confidence, new friendships, and a lifelong love of the slopes.
Join us this winter and be part of Mt. Holiday’s tradition of family, community, and fun on the snow!

Snowsports Scholarship Program
This program was created for families finding it financially unfeasible to provide recreational activities for their children during the winter. It is our sincere intent that no child is denied the privilege of fun, camaraderie, and growth because of a lack of financial means.
