The Mt. Holiday Towne Challenge Adult Race League

We’re back, and it’s happening! The Mt. Holiday Adult Race League is on for 2025! If you love going fast, having fun, and hanging out with a great group of people in a relaxed yet semi-competitive scene, this race is for you. Whether you’re new to ski and snowboard racing or a seasoned enthusiast, the Adult Race League brought to you by Don Orr Ski N’ Beach Haus is the perfect place to jump in!
Who Can Be Involved
- Age Requirement: 21+
- Open to all area ski, snowboard, and telemark riders.
- Perfect for anyone who loves speed, fun, or simply a great reason to get out and support your local ski hill.
- Limited Spots: Registration closes once we hit 75 paid participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration Deadline: January 8, 2025
- Must be 21 or older to compete.
- Helmets are mandatory.
When
Wednesdays
- First “practice” race: January 8, 2025.
- Regular season: January 15 – February 26, 2025.
Schedule
- 6:00 PM: Course Set
- 6:00 – 6:30 PM: Course Inspection
- 6:30 – 7:45 PM: Race (First 2 runs scored, additional runs for fun)
- 7:45 – 8:00 PM: Tear Down (all help appreciated!)
- 8:00 – 8:30 PM: Results in The Lodge

Format
- Relaxed race format with no assigned run orders.
- Complete your 2 official runs at your convenience before 8:00 PM.
- Scores will be based on your first 2 runs of the night (no practice runs allowed).
Scoring
- Points are assigned based on finishing place (e.g., 1st place = 1 point).
- DNF/DQ: Scored as total racers +1.
- DNS (No Show): Scored as total racers +5.
- 7 races total; your worst 2 results will be dropped for overall scoring.
Awards & End-of-Season Party
Celebrate the end of the season with awards, beverages, and a taco bar!
NO SPEED SUITS ALLOWED
- A 50-point penalty will be assessed to participants wearing lycra or similar fabrics without additional covering.
Registration & Fees
- Cost: $75 per person (register online).
- Lift Tickets: $20.
- NEW! Snow Insurance: If 3 or more races are canceled due to weather, participants can roll their registration over to the next season.
