Retired Recess (or almost retired)

Embrace the winter wonderland at Mt. Holiday in Traverse City, MI, where the “almost retired” kids (50+) can enjoy a unique initiative called ‘Almost Retired Recess.’ Taking place every Thursday from 12 – 4 PM starting January 11. This event provides a fun, safe, and vibrant environment for those seeking winter adventures with peers. With discounted lift tickets, rentals, and the possibility of a tubing run, participants can indulge in skiing and playing in the snow. The T-Bar offers a cozy space for socializing, playing games, and enjoying meals. Certified ski instructors will be available on opening day, and the event promises door prizes, puzzles, games, and more. Stay updated on the Almost Retired Recess Facebook group page and join Mt. Holiday for an active and enjoyable winter season with fellow ‘almost retired’ kids.

Snowvember Fest

Our preseason jam session in the terrain park with music, prizes, and great food in the Lodge for a night of fun.

Dinner in the Hills

Dinner in the Hills is an exciting opportunity to support Mt. Holiday and enjoy a memorable night with fellow community members. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we rely on the support of our community to continue providing memorable experiences and enhancing our operations. Your attendance at this event helps ensure that we can maintain and improve the facilities and programs that so many have come to love.

 

Please join us for a night of Boots and Bling. There will be live music from the Drew Hale band, silent & live auction items, dinner, and drinks.

Giving Tuesday at Mt. Holiday

Description: On Giving Tuesday, November 28th, from 5pm to 9pm, your support can make dreams come true at Mt. Holiday. Indulge in the spirit of generosity with our special offer: $12 for a beer and a burger at the T-Bar & Grill! By ordering this special on Giving Tuesday, you will contribute to things like the terrain park, yellow chair lift, lift maintenance, bike trail maintenance, rental equipment, and the future of Mt. Holiday!
