Support Mt. Holiday — Help Us Keep Adventure Accessible for All.
Why Your Support Matters
At Mt. Holiday, we’re committed to creating meaningful connections—between people, the outdoors, and each other. By expanding outreach programs, we aim to increase access to winter sports and outdoor experiences for more families and individuals. We’re investing in equipment upgrades and facility improvements to enhance every guest’s visit. Our innovative educational programs are designed to deepen the connection with nature and foster environmental stewardship. We’re dedicated to ensuring that Mt. Holiday remains a beloved cornerstone of our community—sustainable, welcoming, and vibrant for generations to come. Join us in this mission—your support helps make it all possible.
As a nonprofit ski and recreation area, your support powers year-round outdoor fun, scholarships for kids, and a vibrant community hub.
Mt. Holiday is a 45-acre campus that is nestled between Holiday Hills neighborhoods. Our community walk their dogs here, climb our hills, explore our woods, ride our chairs, are pulled by our tow ropes, connect with neighbors, and are invigorated by the freedom of blasting through fresh northern Michigan air.
Fewer and fewer places exist where kids can be kids. Where physical effort and creative work combine and are rewarded with a hot chocolate break. Where a screen isn’t a temptation. Where a kid says “I’m tired” with a smile on their face.
Help us teach people how to love winter, love the outdoors, and love one another in the process.
Other Ways to Support Mt. Holiday
Mt. Holiday’s Atomic Family: Hill Champions
If gritty lodges, exclusive gear, and 2-person chairs are your jam, then get over here for a hug. We need all the family we can get and that means you! Hill Champions are the folks that let us keep prices affordable, and in return we have stacked up loads of membership bennies. Ski areas and MTB parks are expensive to build, maintain, and improve. Hill Champions understand that if enough of us give a little extra, then we all benefit. If you grew up in the midwest, you understand that the beginning of the journey toward your life’s most memorable runs didn’t start at a massive resort; they started at a place like Mt. Holiday. Without places like Holiday, we might have missed the opportunity to experience the joy of big mountain steeps or epic single tracks.
Snow Power Project
Over the past five years, Mt. Holiday has been working toward a snowmaking system that rivals the best in northern Michigan — one that gets us from bare ground to ski-ready in days instead of weeks. In Summer 2024, Phase 1 became a reality. Interested in the science of snow and how Holiday is planning for the future?
