Here are some FAQ’s!
When can I book a tubing party? You can book a party any time, excluding after hours on 12/20/14-1/3/15.
Can I book a party during the day when Mt. Holiday is not open? Yes you can! We love to host school and youth groups, please ask about our School Group Rate.
How many can tube for a party? We can accommodate up to 52 tubers in a party, a minimum of 10 tubers for the group rate.
What is the cost for a party? During regular hours of operation the group rate is $9 per person for the weekdays, and $11 per person on the weekends/holidays. For private parties when Mt. Holiday is not open, $250 per hour.
Do you have a minimum needed to book a tubing party? Yes, we do have a minimum of 10 guests during regular hours of operation to get the group rate. If you would like to book a private party during non-hours of operation, $250 per hour is the rental rate.
Can I rent the entire tube run for a private tubing party during regular hours of operation? Yes you can, $400 per hour on the weekdays and $500 per hour on the weekends. *Excluding 12/20/14-1/3/15.
Is there an Age limit? No age limit – BUT only one person per tube, each person needs to be able to sit in the tube independently.
What are the weight limits? No weight limits, but need to be able to sit in the tube.
What do I need to bring with me? A signed release is required for every rider. Come dressed for an outdoor party, gloves, hats, (no ski boots allowed), we do recommend helmets and – don’t forget to take pictures and video!
Do I have to wear a helmet? Mt. Holiday does advocate for everyone to wear a helmet, but it is left up to personal discretion.
Can we have pizza and/or cocoa afterward? Yes! A pizza party or cocoa afterward is a great way to end your ride. Please let guest services know what you are interested in when you make the reservation and we will get back to you with food and drink options.
How do I make reservations? Please call guest services for availability or email us and we will get back to you. You will need to give a credit card number to hold the reservation.
What is the cancellation policy? We do require 24 hour notice of cancellation for a party. In the case of inclement weather we can reschedule or you may cancel with no penalty. If you do cancel or no show after the 24 hour notice, your credit card will be charged for the number of reservations made.
What if I have less people show up than what I booked the party for? As we reserved spots for you, if it is in within 24 hours, there will be no penalty. If it is after that time, we will need to charge you accordingly.
How early before my reservation do I need to show up? We recommend a half hour, it is a short walk to the tubing hill and parking during hours of operation can be tight.
If I can’t find a parking spot in the main lot by the lodge where can I park? We have an overflow lot a short distance from the main lodge, continue 100 yards on Holiday Road past the main lot and the first drive on the right has additional parking. Do not park on the road or in the neighboring subdivisions, you will be subject to a ticket or towing.
