\ Scholarship Program - Mt. Holiday

Dear Friends and Family of Mt. Holiday,

We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the Mt. Holiday Snow Sports Scholarship for the 2025–26 winter season! This program helps make skiing and snowboarding accessible to local families who might otherwise face financial barriers to participating in winter recreation. Our goal is simple — to make sure every child has the chance to experience the joy, confidence, and community that comes from being out on the snow.

Applicants will be asked to demonstrate financial need through documentation such as a Medicaid card, Bridge card, miHealth card, or proof of participation in a school’s reduced lunch program.

To help foster community and pride in our hill, each scholarship recipient is also asked to contribute a minimum of 10 volunteer hours at Mt. Holiday during the season. We have a variety of fun and age-appropriate opportunities to get involved, so everyone can find a way to give back.

We also invite each child (not their parent or guardian) to write a short letter or create a brief video telling us what Mt. Holiday means to them and why they’d love to receive a season pass. These personal stories help us connect with our young skiers and riders and remind us why we do what we do.

Our team and Board of Directors remain deeply committed to making snow sports accessible to all kids in our community. Dedicated funds have been set aside to ensure that financial need is never a reason a child has to sit out a season.

Thank you for helping us keep the spirit of Mt. Holiday alive — where every child can learn, grow, and have fun on the snow.

With gratitude,
Chris Remy
