Mt. Holiday, a beloved four-season nonprofit recreation area, is entering a new chapter. This summer marks a time of transition as we say farewell to three dedicated team members and welcome new leadership to guide the future of affordable outdoor fun in Northern Michigan.
Jim Pearson, Executive Director, has been instrumental in Mt. Holiday’s growth and transformation over the past three years. Under his leadership, the organization expanded its programs and strengthened community partnerships. Jim will be relocating to Grand Rapids to pursue new opportunities, and we thank him deeply for his vision and commitment. Also moving on is Keil Mosier, a longtime staple in the T-Bar & Grill kitchen and on the hill, who is off to a new adventure at a local winery.
As we reflect with gratitude, we’re also looking forward. We’re thrilled to introduce two passionate leaders stepping into new roles:

Chris Remy was promoted to Director of Operations. With over 20 years in the ski and outdoor recreation industry, Chris brings a deep love for the outdoors and a talent for building strong teams and streamlined systems. His experience managing seasonal programs and large-scale events will help ensure that Mt. Holiday continues to grow as a year-round destination for fun, connection, and adventure.

Seanan Culloty is Mt. Holiday’s new Director of Food & Beverage. With two decades of experience in food and hospitality—from fine dining in Colorado to feeding medical teams overseas—Seanan brings heart and creativity to every plate. He envisions Mt. Holiday’s restaurant and bar as a vibrant space for the community to gather, with cozy après-ski vibes in winter, live music and events in summer, and plenty of local flavor all year long.
“Mt. Holiday isn’t just a ski hill,” said Culloty. “It’s a nonprofit with heart, where community and grit meet. I’m here to bring that spirit to the table.”
As always, Mt. Holiday remains committed to providing four seasons of affordable outdoor fun for all. We’re deeply grateful for the continued support of our community and can’t wait to see what this next season brings.
