Retired Recess (or almost retired)
Embrace the winter wonderland at Mt. Holiday in Traverse City, MI, where the “almost retired” kids (50+) can enjoy a unique initiative called ‘Almost Retired Recess.’ Taking place every Thursday from 12 – 4 PM starting January 11. This event provides a fun, safe, and vibrant environment for those seeking winter adventures with peers. With discounted lift tickets, rentals, and the possibility of a tubing run, participants can indulge in skiing and playing in the snow. The T-Bar offers a cozy space for socializing, playing games, and enjoying meals. Certified ski instructors will be available on opening day, and the event promises door prizes, puzzles, games, and more. Stay updated on the Almost Retired Recess Facebook group page and join Mt. Holiday for an active and enjoyable winter season with fellow ‘almost retired’ kids.
Snowvember Fest
Our preseason jam session in the terrain park with music, prizes, and great food in the Lodge for a night of fun.
